POTD 002: Incorporate the word "ignite" in your current/new piece of work.

You know those stories where the protagonist has something amazing happen to them?

Come on, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

The main character is just an ordinary girl living life as usual when all of a sudden her entire life is changed.

Remember it now? Yeah... it happens in almost every single book. Or at least the types of books I like to read. The ones filled with adventure and fighting and all that good stuff, with maybe a little bit of fleeting "romance" sprinkled into it here and there. I can do without the romance, but I guess it's whatever.

Does it seem really cliche to you when you read that? I mean I know the story has to begin somehow, and it doesn't make sense to start at the very beginning of someone's boring life and then halfway through the book make the thing happen. But don't you think that it happens maybe a little too much?

I thought so too, until I started writing this journal about a little adventure of my own. It wouldn't have done you any good to read countless of entries that said basically the same thing:

"So I went to school today. Did my homework. Hung out with my best friend. The usual."

So I get it now.

And I don't want to sound cliche or anything... but boy did some craziness happen today.

So it all started when for some reason, I had this insane idea to ignite my Chemistry homework with my brain...
